SkyTeam First Class on EuroBonus

The partner chart still prints First on several zones. The inventory usually does not. Plan a Business trip; treat First as a lottery ticket with an alert on it.

Names that come up: China Eastern, Saudia, Garuda Indonesia, and the occasional Singapore Suites story. In practice, EuroBonus First has been close to unbookable for long stretches. That can change if a partner opens the cabin to the alliance. Until you see a seat, it is a chart curiosity.

Read the First column anyway

The calculator shows First where the zone has a number. Some regions have no First level. If the tool says “—”, stop designing a 78,000-point First itinerary from a forum screenshot.

One-way First at a cheaper zone has been discussed as a routing trick. SAS has to price the ticket that way. Do not buy a positioning flight on that hope.

Monitor, don’t camp

Create a First-only alert on the one route you would actually take. Use Live Search on Pro when something pings. Longhaul will not help here unless SAS itself sells a First cabin, which it does not on current long-haul product.
