Mix cash tickets with EuroBonus awards

A perfect award on both sides is a luxury. Most finished trips are a points long-haul plus a cash hop — or a sale fare when the award calendar is blank.

Primefly members already see this in the product: award alerts on one tab, cash deals on another. The useful rule is not “never pay money.” It is “do not spend 80,000 points on a feeder that costs 1,200 SEK cash.”

When cash wins

Those sale posts expire. The method does not: price the award in the calculator, look at Longhaul, and if both sides are empty, ask whether a cash ticket or a member deal closes the trip.

Open jaw and mixed cabin

Trip Builder on Pro exists for outbound Business + return Premium Economy, or CPH out and ARN home. That is still an award construction. Cash is the patch for the city the award will not touch.
