EuroBonus partner award chart
Partner awards use a zone chart, not a “whatever SAS feels like today” slider. The numbers moved in December 2025. Verify every trip in the calculator before you transfer points.
EuroBonus has two inventories that confuse people: SAS-operated awards and SkyTeam / partner awards. This page is about the partner chart — Air France, KLM, Virgin Atlantic, Garuda, and the rest of the bookable set — departing Europe.
How to read a zone
Each region has Economy, Premium Economy, Business and sometimes First. The published figures are round-trip points per person. Primefly’s calculator estimates a one-way as 60% of the round-trip level. Taxes and carrier-imposed surcharges are extra. A few airlines (Air Europa, China Airlines, Vietnam Airlines in the tool’s current rules) price at 2×.
After 1 December 2025, Business took most of the pain. Europe Business went from 60,000 to 80,000 round-trip. North America Business sits at 140,000. Central America & Caribbean Business jumped to 180,000. South East Asia Business is 190,000. Economy and Premium Economy were largely left alone in that round — which is why mixed-cabin trips got more interesting. See AF/KLM Premium Economy.
Mexico is not “the Caribbean” on the chart
Cancún often prices as North America (140,000 Business round-trip), not the steeper Central America & Caribbean bucket. That is one reason it still shows up in sweetspot write-ups. Always confirm the region in the calculator; SAS, not a blog, decides the zone.
Use the chart, then hunt the seat
A cheap zone with no seats is trivia. After you know the number, open Longhaul for SAS metal and set a Pro alert for partners. Start the 24-hour test if you want Live Search and Trip Builder on the same day. Feature list: What’s in Pro.
Charts change. Treat every figure here as guidance and re-check SAS plus the calculator before you spend a voucher.
